Robert's new house

Stephie's friend Robert moved into a new house recently, and we were invited over for dinner tonight to check it out. Stephie and Robert were much more interested in Robert's Thomas the Train set instead......and of course the adorable baby Avery. So cute!

Moving Day!

As of this afternoon, all of our furniture and most of our possessions went into storage. Now we're just waiting for our dream house to come on the market this spring! Stephie spent the morning with Bozena but arrived home just in time to check out the last of the action.Are we sad to see our current house go? NO!!! Like Ed says, "jumping like rats from a sinking ship...."

We celebrated moving day with an unfortunate dinner at Pita Paradise where the only "paradise' was the price; Stephie made an health-hazardous trip to the bathroom, and the food was, as Ed put it, wring-a-towel-out-greasy. Stephie did enjoy a large plate of hummus, however...quintuple-dipped pita and all."Cheese!!!" Gross!

This rhyming and matching puzzle drives Mommy and Daddy batty, but Stephie loves it!Puzzle head!Hat, cat, mat...Yes, the mess is part (maybe most) of the fun.Also, we are moving in two days... "Mommy, where are my books?!?"

A big day for Stephie and Bobo!

Happy Anniversary Stephie and Bobo! As of today, Bozena has been taking awesome care of Stephie for ONE YEAR! Time flies! Stephie celebrated by giving Bozena a giant decorated cookie, and Bobo was nice enough to share some with Stephie. Yum!Today was also Stephie's first completely accident-free day on the potty. Check out all those smiley faces. Yay, Stephie!!! An even better gift for Bobo than the cookie!

It's great to have friends!

Stephie has had a lot of play-dates lately! On Friday she met up with Ella for lunch at Corner Bakery. At first the girls weren't so sure......but quickly decided it's fun to have a buddy the same age.Then on Saturday Stephie and Lucas bonded over trucks, Lucas's favorite!And finally today at Cami and Ava's house......Stephie showed off her super-human feats of strength. Roar!!!

When Stephie and Lucas got the call to go to the fire station, they quickly jumped in the car (Stephie gave Lucas a push)...
"Hurry, Lucas, Hurry!"
Whew! Close call! Time for a nap......and a tackle. Oofff!

"Look, who is that?""Way up in the sky???""Oh, it's cousin Kevin!" He drove down to paint J&J's vaulted family room.Stephie and Lucas had a good time watching from the balcony.This occasion calls for some new slippers! Elmo, perhaps?!?

Every time Stephie has potty-success, she gets a sticker which she prefers to display right in the middle of her chest. Today Stephie got FIVE stickers total! Go Stephie!So proud!

Stephie surprised Mommy and Daddy by going to bed super early tonight (without blog pics...gasp!), so these are from the past few weeks that got lost in the shuffle. Brie snuck into Stephie's room during her nap...Aunt Stephanie's Christmas gift to Stephie: a painting of bob and Bingo!Hanging with Mimi......and GrrrrAllen!No more kisses, Dewey!Yawn! Being so cute is so exhausting.
