Last night as an only child!

Stephie, Mommy, and Daddy went out one last time to Sweet Tomatoes to celebrate. Mmmm...Mommy and Stephie hanging out at home; perhaps the most pregnant that Mommy will ever be! 39 1/2 weeks.

Just in time

With two days to spare, Mommy finally finished Stephie and Haley's matching sweaters. As you can tell, Stephie was somewhat less than enthusiastic to pose with them.

Play-Doh people

Uh oh, it looks like Mommy and Daddy finally got sick of just making Play-Doh balls. Stephie was happy to assist, though some of her suggested body parts and clothes were extra-creative.

Spring!

Spring has finally arrived! Stephie is so excited to get back to her favorite warm-weather haunts: the arboretum's children's garden......the sand box......and even a new park to explore by our house on East Road. Ahhh, happy spring!

Stephie's legs really aren't long enough to reach the pedals on "MY BIKE," but that certainly doesn't stop her from talking about it all day. Safety first: gotta protect the pumpkin head!Waiting for Daddy to adjust the helmet straps even bigger. Can you say >99% for head?

My bike!

Stephie has been asking over and over for "MY BIKE!!!" until Mommy and Daddy finally broke down and bought her a new Barbie trike. Hot "mink" of course. Stephie helped Papa assemble it too.

Bingo likes to ride the bike too, but Stephie likes it even better when poor Bingo rides in the storage compartment.

Friday morning with Bobo

Mommy volunteered at the free clinic this morning in St. Charles which meant that Stephie had a great time hanging out with Bobo. First, Bingo got a ride on the train......and Stephie and Bingo tried on Bobo's shoes......then Stephie met up with Cami and Ava at the mall for some play-time......whoa! action shot......as well as lunch. Much to Mommy's dismay, Cami and Ava's diet consists solely of chicken nuggets, which means that lunch with them isn't the healthiest. But it sure is fun!

Ralph's World

Stephie and Bozena went to a concert today! They went to see Ralph of "Ralph's World" who is somewhat of a local celebrity around Glen Ellyn. Rockin' out to the music:Circles around Ralph!

Balls. Yet again.

Guess what are Stephie's favorite things at the new Ackerman sports center in Glen Ellyn?That's right. Balls. This time not of the Pay-Doh variety.
...and finally, a frisbee for good measure. Stephie was so exhausted after all the running around that she went to bed at 7:30pm, a personal record!

Does Stephie like her new wheels for our after-dinner walks?She does indeed! Stephie even knows where baby Haley is going to sit: immediately to her right.

Arlington Park Pet Expo

Mommy and Daddy went to the pet expo over the weekend to see lots of "woofs" and "meows." Awww...an English bulldog named Lola.Look, Daddy's dream come true! A giant rabbit!Twin Basset hounds.We paid $1 for Stephie to hug a puppy.Look, it's Brie! Except better looking and much better behaved.Petting a beautiful Persian kitten. Maxine!
