Poor Stephie! Stephie pulled a cup of very hot tea over onto her arm and is spending the night at the Loyola Medical Center burn unit. The good news is that Stephie is already on the mend; the bad news is that Mommy now has to live with an unbelievable amount of guilt. Daddy found a little bit of humor in the situation and is here showcasing the fact that even baby gowns leave a little bit of modesty to be desired.
Climbing the stairs (over and over) with Mommy sure is a fun game, but not as fun as dangling our feet over the railing and giggling!

...and who needs clothes? Not Stephie!
...then played with Mommy's latest Craig's List find, the Little People castle. Daddy has put a limit on the amount of Little People allowed in the house, so the other five sets are currently living in Grandma Julie's basement. Boo!
Daddy added another three letters after his name today: CPA! Ed got word that he has now officially passed all four sections of the CPA exam. Great job, Ed!!! Stephie is so proud.

Look, six Stephies!
We thought we were done with winter (ha!), but just in case, Stephie got a new hat to keep that bald little head warm. It's nice and cozy, and better yet, striped!
...and then met up with a new friend Claire (who turns one tomorrow!) at her house for lunch.
Also noteworthy, Stephie has officially made the switch to taking only one afternoon nap this week. This frees her up for many more morning outings; she is about to get even busier!
We took Stephie to McDonald's today to have her first Big Mac and french fries. KIDDING! We actually went there to play at the Play Place. Stephie had a great time exploring the animals and tunnels and even met another boy Mason who was very fun to play with as well.
Stephie wishes all of her family and friends a very happy Valentine's day filled with hugs and kisses!

Stephie had two separate play-dates today with her "boyfriends" R.J. and Sam, but the best part of the day was wearing some very colorful hats!
Stephie spent a lot more time outside today enjoying the near-record high temperatures. First she explored the Cosley Zoo in Wheaton and made some new friends along the way, then she spent more time outside at home walking Brie around the neighborhood. Lucky baby, and lucky doggy too!
