Dairy Queen
In celebration of the beautiful summer weather, we took a bike ride to Lombard today to visit the Dairy Queen. We arrived right after a baseball team, so Stephie and Mommy took a walk to pass the time while Daddy waited in line.
It was worth the wait! We shared a vanilla waffle cone. Yum!

Your Great-Grandpa Haley was a huge fan of Dairy Queen. That was his big treat every Friday night in the summer time. There's just nothing like a cone from Dairy Queen!

That waffle cone looks delicious, Stephie! I hope this was the first of many trips to DQ for you this summer!
Stephie, I can't imagine any better way to celebrate a summer day than a bike ride with your Mommy & Daddy and a DQ cone! Unless - of course - it was a Mr. Wizard cone......But then - that would be a very long bike ride!
