Pretty in pink at the park

Stephie had a great time today at the park. Pink hat, pink hoodie, pink pants, pink cheeks! The only thing missing was her pink stuffed doggy (named Bob) who comes with her now pretty much everywhere she goes. Don't worry, Bob and Stephie were reunited later for a walk around the block in the stroller.

14 months old!

Stephie is 14 months old today! The past month has taken Stephie from taking a few tentative steps to flying across the room. Mommy and Daddy also finally figured out that if they put the sign in a frame, it's a lot harder to tear apart. Slow learners.

Emily's wedding shower

Today Stephie spent the day at Aunt Emily's wedding shower. Stephie wore a dress made by Emily's grandma Lucille which Emily wore when she was 18 months old. It was so sweet of Emily to let Stephie borrow it.Stephie had SO much fun playing with Connor...

Chair construction

After a very busy day with Sammy in the park...Stephie spent the evening helping Daddy put together some new dining room chairs. She "helped" so much that Stephie and Mommy were forced to retreat to the basement until the job was done!

Gee, how you've grown!

Stephie spends a lot of time downstairs hanging out with her giant measuring giraffe, conveniently located next to all of her books. At her 12 month appointment, Stephie was 31 inches tall standing up...
...and is now her birth height, 19 3/4 inches, when she is kneeling.Haha, that's funny!

PB&J picnic

While Mommy was busy getting her hair cut even shorter this weekend, Daddy and Stephie hung out downtown with an awesome walk and picnic near Lake Michigan.Although it's controversial, Stephie got the go-ahead from her pediatrician at her 12-month visit to eat peanut butter. She shared her first PB&J sandwich with Daddy, and boy was it tasty!
