13 months old today!

Stephie, Mommy, and Daddy are in Raleigh-Durham, NC visiting Lindsay, J.D., and Ally. Stephie and Ally had a GREAT day together including hanging out at home......walking around the neighborhood......and around Chapel Hill (Ally had a nice nap!)......and finally out to Ted's Montana Grill for dinner. The girls shared a variety of food at dinner including goldfish, raisins, rolls, cheese, hard-boiled egg, avocado, mashed potatoes, salmon, and bison meatloaf. Wow! What a great way to celebrate being 13 months old.

First time in the sandbox

Stephie put her new sandbox toys to good use today. Much to everyone's amazement, she even managed to get sand in her diaper...through her tights!

Looking out on the world

Stephie's newest game is looking out the back door to see who is coming to visit.Stephie gets SO MAD when she can't go outside too!

Straw success

Stephie has successfully mastered drinking from a straw! Mommy is particularly fascinated by Stephie lately; she is learning something new every single day.Also, here is Stephie's latest version of high-chair peek-a-boo. Quite creative!

Tooth time

Daddy is extra busy lately as he has to brush both Stephie's teeth and Brie's teeth every night, though Stephie's toothpaste (bubblegum) tastes a heck of a lot better than Brie's (chicken). Here's to hoping that Stephie's teeth are like Daddy's (cavity-proof) and not like Mommy's (which might actually be made of sand).

Happy Easter

Stephie wishes all of her family and friends, near and far, a very happy Easter, filled with lots of bunnies (Stephie's favorite).

Walking!

It's been coming for weeks, but today Stephie officially became a walker and took a record 8 steps in a row. Yay, Stephie! Watch out, Mommy and Daddy...
