Cheeky monkey

We tried to get a picture of Stephie smiling wearing her "I love my daddy" bib; but her cheeks are so huge they're too heavy to lift into a grin. : )

...unfortunately taken between bouts of screaming when Stephie was desperate for a feeding! Nevertheless, she is still so cute in her diapers, especially with her huge Buddha belly.

Another trip to Grandma's house

Stephie enjoyed some quality time with Daddy and Grandma Lois today. She now weighs 10 pounds 9 ounces...such a big baby! I think this is her last week in the "newborn" size clothes.

Bed, Bath, Beyond, and Baby

After falling out of her bouncy chair into the crib last night (ok, I guess we're officially done with the bouncy chair in the crib for good!), screaming for four hours straight this morning, and finally calming down after seeing Mommy for lunch, Stephie and Daddy ventured out on some errands in the afternoon. They visited BB&B (which should be changed to BBB&B) and the grocery store, then Stephie even went with Mommy to her study group and slept the whole time! Let's hope tonight stays calm...

Trip to the Zoo

Daddy, Grandma Michelle, and Stephie went to the zoo today and met a very friendly ape! I think he perhaps thought that Stephie was his monkey-baby. Anyone see a resemblance?

Mary comes to visit

Stephie has been so lucky to have so many wonderful visitors as of late! Mary H. was in town last night for her job with America's Second Harvest. We got to have dinner together and then took a lovely walk up to the Loop for Ben & Jerry's free cone day. Stephie behaved like an angel for once!

No more harness!

Stephie got the official word that it's ok to stop wearing her harness! She and Mommy are very excited to be able to play dress-up again with all of her cute little clothes!
