Fall at the Arboretum
Fall is here! Stephie and Bobo went to the Arboretum today. After burning off some energy...
...Stephie checked out some extremely interesting autumnal displays.
There was even a scarecrow contest!
Stephie was especially fascinated by the pretty pink skirt on this scarecrow. How fancy!

Stephie's newest hobbies

Climbing on the coffee table is Stephie's latest pastime.
How's this, Gramps?
After lots of table-fun, Stephie spent at least 45 minutes trying to figure out the buckles on the portable high-chair.
The whole experience had to include a test drive.
When told not to stand on the tray, she sat upon it instead.
Stephie insisted on putting everything in its place.
When I asked Stephie if she was going to be an engineer, she said "Yaaaahh."
She was finally able to lock the buckle but hasn't yet figured out how to unlock it (thank goodness!)

Long Grove Apple Festival
Today Mommy and Daddy took Stephie to the annual Long Grove Apple Festival.
Stephie got her face painted for the first time! It was fun!

Kisses for Robert!
Tonight we had our friends Anne, Tim, and Robert (2 years old) over for dinner. Meet Robert. Isn't he cute?

Tram time
These pictures are a few weeks old, but look at how much fun Stephie had with Faux Pas exploring the tram in their backyard! She even learned to "mind the gap" getting on and off. Fun!
