Stephie's 99th percentile head outgrew her 24-month Coolibar hat. Mommy thinks this new one is super-cool and extra-full-coverage for that little blonde head. Who doesn't like neck and ear flaps? Daddy is somewhat dismayed at its dorkiness. You make the call...see poll above!

Today we went to Kenosha, WI for Connor's first birthday party. It was quite the adventure!"Hey Connor, can I have some cake?"Finally!Time for a break and some hugs...Uncle John practiced holding Stephie in preparation for the impending arrival of baby Carra...any day now!Stephie and Connor stripped down for some serious sand and water table fun.Finally, Stephie went for a nice walk with Grallen......and kicked his butt at Bag-O. What an amazing day!

Aunt Marian's 93rd birthday lunch

Today we met Aunt Connie and Connor at a local favorite, Hackney's, to help celebrate Aunt Marian's 93rd birthday.Stephie and Connor shared a buffet of watermelon, tuna salad, raisins, puffs, cheese, blackberries, bran muffin, pumpernickel bread, and even some (ok, most) of Aunt Marian's ice cream sundae. They also had Little People for dessert.Connor was in a food coma after so much good food."See, Connor, here's how you open presents. Tear the paper...""And then pull the present out!
