More visitors from St. Louis!

Stephie was extra lucky this weekend and had Grandma Michele and Grandpa Don come visit. Activities included visiting Mommy at her dermatology office, pigging out at Sweet Tomatoes for lunch, playing with all of Grandma Julie's Easter decorations, and having dinner with Grandma Julie, Grandpa John, Grandpa Allen, and Sue. What a busy, fun-filled day!

Ahhh...spring

Finally! The thermometer reached above 60 degrees today, and Stephie enjoyed the beautiful warm and sunny weather with a lovely walk at the Morton Arboretum. Note Stephie's excellent sun protection. Great job, Stephie! You make Mommy so proud.

Thanks, Grandma!

Stephie had a great time playing with Grandma Michelle today who flew up to Chicago just to see her and spend the day with her. There was lots of time playing with the elephant that Grandma got Stephie for Christmas...
...as well as playing with the super cool purse that Ally got Stephie as a get-well present...
...and just hanging out together listening to the new c.d. that Stephie got in the mail today from Sophie. What a great day!

Flowers from Stephanie

Today was a landmark day in Stephie's life: a girl's first roses! Stephie received a beautiful get-well bouquet from Aunt Stephanie as well as a very tasty koala bear. It is the first stuffed animal that she has a genuine interest in. Great choice, Stephanie!

On the mend

Stephie is on the road to recovery and is back to her normal self, playing and laughing in the hospital. New toys make everyone feel a little bit better! They are good medicine!
