What started out as a fairly bleak weekend forecast due to illness and weather trouble has turned into quite the social weekend for Stephie! First was lunch at Oak Brook with Mary, John, and Leena...
...then dinner with Sue and Grandpa Allen at home.Wheee, more airplane, Daddy!

Stephie loves Sophie

Stephie was so excited to have her buddy Sophie come visit today! They helped each other open some packages......and even shared a quick dinner before Sophie was off to Toledo, OH for the night. Bye, bye, Sophie! See you soon!

Baby Danskos

Stephie realized tonight that her new Mary Janes look a whole lot like Mommy's favorite Dansko clogs!

Happy New Year!

2008 was an amazingly wonderful year for us. Happy New Year to all of our friends and family who made it so great! We are very much looking forward to 2009 and all of the excitement to come.

On the mend

Stephie and Daddy are feeling much better today and are excited to be on the road to recovery.YAY!!!

The Plague

Daddy and Stephie both have the plague which we hope is food poisoning and fear is the dreaded stomach flu, both of which do not amount to good blog pictures (Mommy can definitely attest to that!) Instead, here are a few of my favorites from Christmas 2008:

Bathtime just became a lot more fun...

...with the addition of BATH TOYS for Christmas! No more playing with only the wash cloth and toothbrush, yay Stephie!Also, our lives are about to change. See evidence of this here and here.
