Social Sunday!

Stephie had a very social, fun Sunday today. First we had breakfast with Mike, Deb, and Sam. Sam liked finding Stephie's belly button!


Then we had a great lunch and walk with Leena and Mary. Stephie was a very good girl; certainly not a hint of stranger anxiety yet!

The Blair Witch Baby?

Anyone else think that these pictures resemble the ones from the Blair Witch Project (see below)? NOT one of Mommy's favorite movies...too scary!

On a safer note, we had a lovely walk today with Grandpa Allen in a forest preserve near his house. Note the benign Baby Bjorn, a much preferred method of transportation.

Rainy Day

It poured all day long today, so Stephie, Liz, and Julia made the best of it by reading books and taking lots of pictures! My favorite picture of Stephie and Julia so far, reading the Ladybug book:

Stephie and the Busy Bee hanging out in her new high chair. She enjoyed chewing on the chair more than sitting in it, but hey, whatever.

Bed time

While Mommy was at the first Glen Ellyn Newcomers meeting, Daddy helped Stephie get ready for bed. First came baby exercises including biceps curls...

Stephie's first neighborhood BBQ

We had the first of hopefully many BBQ's today with a few of our neighbors, Jen and Mike, and Anne and Tim, and Stephie got to hang out and play with their kids: Robert (11 months), Olivia (4 years), and Sophia (2 years). Brie also had a great time playing with the girls...especially once dinner was served!
