Stephie's new living room furniture

Stephie is very excited to finally have a place to sit in the living room! Mommy and Daddy picked the couch and chair up last night; yet another Craig's List find, this time from Yorkville. Where??? Exactly.

the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The scene: Stephie's bedroom

Time: 9am this morning

What: Mommy found Stephie awake and playing in her crib. After smiling and laughing for a few minutes, Stephie rolled onto her side....

"OH NO!" screamed Mommy. "Major diaper leakage!"

Stephie laughed and smiled.

Mommy stripped Stephie down, laid her on her back, and turned around for a split second...AND STEPHIE ROLLED OVER!!! YAY, STEPHIE!

Anyone care for a game of cards?

I think we have a future card shark on our hands; Stephie is already learning to play Hearts, 500 Rummy, and Screw Your Neighbor. Watch out, Vegas!

Stephie's not-so-classy newest game

Stephie has unfortunately discovered that her tongue is not only great for making loud noises, it's also an awesome play-thing. She has spent a good chunk of the past few days playing with and grabbing her tongue, and tonight we finally captured it on camera. Gross!

The Bumbleride Rocket

After owning the Bumbleride Rocket stroller since January, we finally figured out how to take off the snow boot and use the harness. (This was precipitated by Stephie almost flipping herself out of her swing today!) Now Stephie can ride in style like a big baby!

High chair time

Stephie isn't really big enough for her high chair yet, nor is she going to be actually eating food for another month and a half, but she sure looked cute today sitting up like a big girl in her chair! We're going to pack it away again for the next couple of months until she can actually use it.

Stephie hits the swings

Mommy took Stephie on two different play dates today and was very pleasantly surprised to find out that not only is Stephie able to sit up in the swings like a big girl, she actually really likes it! I love how she is holding onto the chains with her hands.
