Mommy and Daddy both went back to work today which meant that Stephie got to hang out all day with Grandpa Allen. This may be my favorite picture of her yet!

Big girl in her crib

Sometimes I forgot how tiny Stephie was when she was born and what a big girl she is becoming. I was looking back at her blog from March and came across this entry from March 24th where we were trying to get tiny Stephie to sleep in her huge crib. It is truly amazing to me what a difference a little over 3 months can make. She is very good at sleeping in her crib now and, even more amazingly, takes up a whole lot more of it Her chubby little cheeks don't even look like the same baby. We have also finally transitioned her out of her swaddle blanket. I took these pictures today when she was sleeping peacefully; what a little angel!

Stephie all around town

Stephie had a very busy day today. We went for a walk around downtown Glen Ellyn, then headed to the Ryan family reunion while Grandpa Don and Grandma Michele went to Taste of Chicago. We met up again for an Italian dinner out, then went for another walk along the Naperville river walk. Whew!

Happy 4th of July!

We had an awesome first fourth of July BBQ at our new house. Stephie got to sit on at least 18 different laps and was a very good girl.

Grandpa Don and Grandma Michele come to visit!

Stephie got her first overnight guests at the new house today: Grandpa Don and Grandma Michele came to party for the 4th of July weekend! We took a nice walk up to Lake Ellyn at dusk; we are loving the beautiful summer weather this week.

Playing with toys

Stephie made big progress over the past few days and is now able to reach toward a toy to play with it. She mostly misses and bats it around instead, but she did manage to pull the hanging rings toward her mouth a few times today. So cute!

Stephie made a very interesting purchase at the Jewel today. We were shocked when she didn't get carded, but she is a very mature three and a half months old.
